Polycarbonate resin is colorless andtransparent, heat resistant, shock resistant. It has good mechanical andoptical properties at ordinary service temperatures. Comparing withpolymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate resin has good impact resistance,high refractive index and good processing performance. Polycarbonate resin isresistant to weak acid, weak base, neutral oil, but not resistant to UV lightand strong base.
