N, N-Dimethyl acetamide is a kind of aprotic solvent of high boiling point and high polar, which can dissolve a variety of compounds and completely miscible with water, ether, ketone, ester, aromatic hydrocarbons. It has characteristics of high thermal stability, not easy to hydrolysis, corrosion resistance, low toxicity, etc. It has good dissolving ability for a variety of resins, especially for the polyurethane resin and polyimide resin, and it is mainly used as good polar solvent for heat resistant synthetic fibre, plastic, paint, medicine, solvent, the spinning of acrylonitrile polymer synthetic fiber spinning and other organic syntheses.
